Advisory committee approves ESG recommendation

The committee members unanimously approved a subcommittee’s recommendation regarding how the Commission should address ESG disclosures by issuers. The proposal calls for a best practices, principles-based approach with issuers disclosing whether they rely on an ESG framework or not
